Collection, processing and use of personal data

We commit ourselves to treat your stored data confidentially.
You do not need to provide any data by visting our online shop.
We only store anonymised access data without personal reference, like e.g. The name of your internet service provider, the page from which you are visiting us, or the name of the requested file.
In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. F GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) the protection of our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a weighing up of interests, in a correct presentation of our offer.

Personal data are only collected if you voluntarily provide them to us during the ordering process, when opening a customer account or when registering for our newsletter.
In case of an order, a customer account will be automatically opened, if not already available. Afterwards the customer has access to all his stored data at any time.
We only use your given data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) exclusively for the execution of your contracts and processing your requests.

After completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be for further processing uses restricted and deleted after expiring of the tax and commercial retention periods,
unless you have expressly consented to a further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data use, if this is legally permitted and where we have informed you in this statement.
The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by a message to the above-mentioned contact email or via a designated function in the customer account.
 

Data transfer to shipping companies

For the fulfilment of the contract referred to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), we only communicate the delivery address (exception: telephone number for deliveries with forwarding agent) to the shipping company (like UPS, DHL, TNT, GLS oder FedEx) commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.
 

Data usage in payment processing

Depending on which payment option you select in the order process, we will forward the collected payment data to the credit institution and to the payment service providers commissioned by us to process the payments or the selected payment service which has been chosen from you.
Sometimes the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, as far as you have created a customer account there. In this case, you must log in with your access data to the payment service provider in order to complete the payment. Please refer then to the data privacy protection of your payment provider.

Solvency check
If we pay in advance payment, e.g. in case of an order on invoice, it is for the conclusion of the contract in accordance with Art. 22 para. 2 lit. a GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) required to obtain identity and credit information from specialized service providers (credit reference agencies). 
For this purpose, we will transfer your personal data required for a solvency check to the following companies:

Debt collection
In case of payment difficulties, a claim can be assigned to a debt collection agency.

Credit cards data
We do not store credit card data on our servers.
Credit card payments are handled via our PCI certified partner 1&1 ipayment SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, D-56410 Montabaur) and cleared through Elavon Financial Services DAC (Lyoner Str. 36, D-60528 Frankfurt/M).
Your credit card data will be encrypted before being transferred.

First of all: Euro Industry uses only it's own cookies. Not a single 3rd Party-Cookie.

Our website is using cookies. Cookies are small text files that can be conveyed to the device via the service. 
We use cookies and other similar technologies to ensure good and efficient customer service and functions.

If the corresponding server of our website is called again by the user and/or customer, 
the browser of the user and / or customer will send the previously received cookie back to the server.
For this reason, the content of the shopping card will be maintained and the order process will be still possible.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; You may at any time disable cookies wholly or in part by changing their browser settings. You may also remove existing cookies. 
You should note that disabling cookies may affect the use of Online Shop or parts or functions thereof, or even prevent their use altogether.
 

Data security

Your personal data is always safe with us! 
They are encrypted and transmitted to us with SSL AES 256 bit encryption.
Our website is protected against unauthorized access through strict technical measures.
Because the communication by e-mail is not 100% secure, only temporary random passwords are generated and sent by e-mail, which are replaced during your first login with a new password under protection of the encryption.

As concerned person, you have the following rights:
Article 15 EU GDPR "Right of access by the data subject"
1. right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data;
Article 16 EU GDPR : "Right to rectification" right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her.
Article 17 EU GDPR "Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten')"
1. right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:
- to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information;
- to fulfill a legal obligation;
- for reasons of public interest or
- to assert, exercise or defend legal claims
Article 18 EU GDPR "Right to restriction of processing"
- the accuracy of the data is disputed by you;
- the processing is unlawful, but you reject its deletion;
- we no longer need the data, but you need it for asserting, exercising or defending legal claims or;
- you filed an objection against the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
Article 20 EU GDPR "Right to data portability"
according to Art. 20 EU GDPR the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another person responsible;
according to Art. 77 EU GDPR the right to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or work or our company headquarters.

For questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, information, correction, blocking or deletion of data as well as revocation of granted consent or objection to a particular use of data, please contact directly the above mentioned contact (Data Protection Officer).

Right of objection
To the extent that we process personal data as explained above in order to safeguard our legitimate interests, 
which are predominant in the context of a weighing up of interests,
you can object to this processing with effect for the future.
If the processing is for the purpose of direct marketing, you can exercise this right at any time as described above.
Insofar as the processing takes place for other purposes, you are only entitled to a right of objection 
if there are reasons that arise from your particular situation.
After exercising your right to object, we will not further process your personal data for these purposes, 
unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests,
rights and freedoms, or if the processing of the assertion, exercise or defense of Legal claims serves.
This does not apply if the processing is for direct marketing purposes. Then we will not process your personal data for this purpose.
