§1 Notes on the Battery Act - BattG
Used batteries do not belong in the household waste. According to the Battery Act, which came into force on December 1st, 2009, all citizens are obliged to dispose of batteries and accumulators exclusively through retailers or the specially set up collection points (statutory return obligation). Retailers and manufacturers are obliged to take back these batteries and properly recycle them or dispose of them as hazardous waste (statutory take-back obligation). You can return batteries and rechargeable batteries (even if they were built into devices, e.g. notebooks) or send them back to our address see below.
The manufacturers of batteries are obliged to mark batteries with the following symbol:
Batteries that contain more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury, more than 0.0002 percent by mass of cadmium or more than 0.0004 percent by mass of lead must also be marked with the chemical symbols of the metals (Hg, Cd, Pb) for which the limit value is exceeded.
§2 Notes on the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act
We would like to point out that according to the regulations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, consumers can hand in their old electrical and electronic equipment (e.g. notebooks, cell phones, kitchen appliances) free of charge at the municipal collection points. The manufacturers must take back and dispose of the devices collected there.
Waste oil ordinance and waste oil disposal of lubricants
According to the waste oil regulation, we are obliged to take back the following used oils free of charge:
You can return the used oil to us in the amount that corresponds to the amount purchased from us. The place of return is our point of sale.

You can hand in the oils there at any time during opening hours. Alternatively, you can also send the used oil to our acceptance point, whereby the shipping costs are to be borne by you.
Please note that special transport conditions may apply to waste oil, as these usually have to be sent as dangerous goods.
We would also like to point out that our acceptance point has a facility that enables the oil change to be carried out professionally.
As private consumers, our customers also use the opportunity to hand in their small quantities at local collection points, which can be found, for example, at municipalities, municipalities or recycling centers.
If you are a commercial end user, we would like to point out that we can use third parties to meet our acceptance obligations.
Commercial consumers are required by law to provide evidence of disposal, i.e. H. to have disposal carried out by an "authorized disposal company".
We can offer you this service for disposal by an "authorized disposal company" (only within Germany).
