The 3M Peltor Comtac XPI MT20H682FB-02 headset is particularly suitable for protection against loud impulse noise. Harmful sound levels are effectively attenuated, while normal ambient noises can be easily perceived and sometimes even amplified. The ability to communicate with the environment while being protected from harmful noise is absolutely essential in military settings, whether in maneuvers or actual combat situations. This is because the noise exposure is often so high that unprotected ears are immediately at risk of permanent hearing damage. The electronic, level-dependent hearing protection Comtac XPI is specifically designed for these conditions. It provides effective protection against harmful impulse noise and can be comfortably worn under a helmet, allowing for unrestricted use of various firearms. To further protect the hearing, additional earplugs can be worn under the 3M Peltor Comtac XPI.
