Lusin Protect O 45 F NSF H1 Corrosion Protection Spray 400ml

Lusin® Protect O 45 F by Chem-Trend is a grease-based corrosion protection and lubricating agent for the temporary protection of moulds, tools and metal surfaces in thermoplastics processing. The aerosol forms a stable, transparent and water-repellent protective film and is NSF H1 registered.

Applications

• Corrosion protection of moulds and tools used in the processing of thermoplastic materials
• Temporary protection of metal surfaces during production shutdowns and storage
• Protection of difficult-to-reach areas such as fine cracks, edges and recesses
• For production areas requiring an NSF H1-registered mould protectant

• Corrosion test according to DIN 50017: no corrosion after 40 hours on RST-37-2 steel
• Salt spray test according to DIN 50021: no corrosion after 50 hours on 101-A steel

Application Notes

• Apply only to dry and clean metal surfaces
• Apply several thin coats to obtain a uniform protective film
• Ensure that edges, recesses and difficult-to-reach areas are completely covered
• The protective film can be removed with a suitable degreaser or by producing parts; the mould protectant is transferred onto the produced parts during this process
• Carry out a suitability test before subsequently painting, printing or bonding the produced parts
