3M Scotchcast 92-NBA 0 GS inline joint kit with Scotchcast 4GS epoxy resin. Designed for 1-core up to 5-core non-shielded, polymeric, low-voltage energy cables up to 0.6/1.0 (1.2) kV. The kit includes Scotchcast 4GS resin with colour mixing indicator delivered in a two-chamber plastic pouch with integrated spout and an aluminium Guard Bag, plus a one-part transparent mould body for simple handling and easy control of connector distances.

Handling
- Keep resin bags at 10 °C or warmer before mixing. In cooler ambient conditions, store in a warmer area until ready to mix.
- Resin is supplied in a two-chamber pouch with integrated spout and aluminium Guard Bag for humidity protection.
- The re-openable seam and integrated spout with membrane provide a Closed Mixing and Pouring (CMP) system.
- After opening the seam, mix both components until resin turns to a homogenous green colour (darker green when fully cured). Colour gradation may vary with storage or temperature.
- To pour, connect the spout with the dome and turn 180° to open the membrane.
- The CMP system enables resin handling without skin contact.
- Foam sealing elements can be adapted to cable diameters by removing pre-cut adapter rings.
- A web spacer ensures minimum required distance between connectors (usable for 3-core and 4-core cables).
- Apply closure cap onto the dome for protection against pollution.
- Remaining resin in the pouch may be disposed of as household waste after curing.

Shelf Life and Storage
- 3M™ Scotchcast™ 4GS resin shelf life: 36 months from production date (5–40 °C, <75% r.h.) in sealed Guard Bag.
- Expiry date printed on Guard Bag and carton label.
- Storage at elevated temperatures may bleach the blue colorant and alter mixed colour gradation, without affecting performance.
- Storage beyond labelled expiry does not necessarily mean unusable. Applicability must then be verified by the user.
