LOCTITE® EA 9492 LI (formerly Hysol® 9492) is a white, low-viscosity 2-part epoxy adhesive for bonding and repairing various materials in high-temperature environments. (Improved safety version of EA 9492)

• Structural bonding of metals, plastics and composites
• Electrically insulating bonds in electronics and device assembly

• Temperature resistant up to 150 °C (short-term up to 180 °C)

• Pot life: approx. 10–30 minutes (100 g batch / 22 °C)
• Fixture time: approx. 75 minutes

Technical Data

Directions for Use

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and grease-free
• Mix resin and hardener at 2:1 ratio, discard the first 3–5 cm of bead
• Do not mix batches larger than 0.5 kg (risk of heat build-up)
• Keep parts fixed during curing
• Full cure at room temperature, accelerated by heat

Storage & Shelf Life

• Unopened shelf life: 12 months
• Optimal storage: +8 °C to +28 °C, frost-free
• Do not return used material into the original container
