LOCTITE® EA 9492 is a white-pasty, low-viscosity 2-part epoxy adhesive designed for bonding and repairing various materials in high-temperature environments.

Applications

• Structural bonding of metals, plastics and composites
• Electrically insulating bonds in electronics and device assembly
• Repairs exposed to heat and chemicals
• Encapsulation or potting of housings, parts and components
• General industrial bonding with high mechanical stress

Key Features

• High temperature resistance up to 150 °C (short-term up to 180 °C)
• Excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents
• Low-viscosity, easy to dispense
• Low outgassing
• After cure: impact-resistant, electrically insulating, high strength
• Pot life: approx. 15 minutes (100 g / 22 °C)
• Fixture time: approx. 75 minutes at room temperature

Instructions for Use

• Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free of grease
• Discard the first 3–5 cm of mixed adhesive
• Observe pot life – large quantities accelerate curing
• Allow full cure before applying mechanical load
