Teroson RB IX is a solvent-free, permanently plastic, self-adhesive synthetic rubber sealant. This kneadable sealing material is designed for assembly applications and provides good corrosion protection, very good water and ageing resistance, and reliable adhesion to clean and dry surfaces.

Technical data

Application notes

• The substrates must be clean, dry, oil-free and grease-free.
• TEROSON RB IX is processed manually by tearing off the required amount of material.
• The torn-off sealant is pressed manually into the required shape with a wooden paddle, spatula or another suitable tool.
• For processing from hobbocks, extruder spiral, piston, gear or rotary pumps can be used.
• For pump application, the pump, follower plate, hose and applicator must be heatable.
• Processing temperatures are between 80 °C and 160 °C.

• Recommended storage temperature: 5 to 35 °C
• Shelf life in original packaging: 24 months
