KD-CHECK SD-1 Wet developer for crack detection ISO 3452-2 500ml Spray

Karl Deutsch KD-CHECK SD-1 solvent-based wet developer spray is used for any test equipment system for non-destructive testing of surface cracks and pores using the dye penetration test method.

Application

• For crack detection on almost all metallic and non-metallic material surfaces, e.g. steel, plastic, aluminum, brass (suitability for plastics must be checked beforehand)
• Crack detection system approved to DIN EN ISO 3452 in accordance with TRGS 614
• After intermediate cleaning (KD-Check PR-1) and drying, a thin film of white wet developer is applied
• After a processing time (5 - 10 minutes) the dye penetrant (e.g. KD-CHECK RDP-1) is drawn out and becomes visible as a red trace
