Karl Deutsch KD-CHECK RDP-1 red crack detection spray allows non-destructive testing for surface cracks and pores, using the dye penetration test method.

Advantages

Efficient testing with minimum effort: Only one spray of penetrant, cleaner (KD-Check PR-1) and developer (KD-Check SD-1) are required for successful testing.
Reduced consumption: Low viscosity and optimum dripping properties lead to reduced test agent consumption
Easy evaluation: Evaluation is carried out in normal daylight or under daylight lamps
High test reliability: Strong contrast formation, sample tested according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2 and 3452-6, approved according to AREVA NP TLV 9017

Application

Particularly suitable for construction sites, repairs, spot checks and series testing
Suitable for almost all metallic and non-metallic material surfaces such as steel, aluminum, brass or plastics (Suitability for plastics must be checked beforehand)
The red dye penetrant seeps into cracks by capillary action. The processing time (5 - 10 minutes) depends on the crack / pore geometry.
