Castrol Magna SW D 220 is a slideway oil (ISO VG 220, CGLP, DIN 51524-2 HLP) based on highly refined mineral oil with extreme pressure and lubricity additives, designed for the lubrication of machine tool slideways where a demulsifying lubricant is required.

Product description
Castrol Magna SW D 220 is designed for use on machine tool slideways where stable glide behaviour, adhesion, wear protection, corrosion protection and demulsifying performance are required. It is formulated to help reduce stick-slip, carriage chatter and lubricant squeeze-out, while supporting coolant cleanliness and slideway protection.
Handling & storage
- Keep the container tightly sealed
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Prevent exposure to frost and avoid water ingress
- For optimum stability, indoor storage between 5°C and 45°C is preferred
