3M™ Versaflo™ TR-819E IS is an intrinsically safe powered air starter kit built around the TR-802E blower unit. It is designed for work in potentially explosive atmospheres (gas and dust, Zone 0/20) and comes complete with A2P filter, battery, charger, belt and breathing hose; the matching Versaflo™ headtop is selected separately depending on the application.
Features
- Intrinsically safe system for Ex-zones: TR-802E turbo unit with ATEX approval for gas group IIB and dust group IIIC – suitable for Zone 0/20 (with approved headtop).
- Three airflow settings: 185 / 205 / 225 l min⁻¹ with electronic flow control and automatic low-flow alarm.
- Integrated A2P filter: combination filter TR-6310E for organic vapours (boiling point > 65 °C) as well as solid and liquid particles.
- Battery & airflow monitoring: visual and audible alarm in case of low battery charge or insufficient airflow.
- High protection level: system classification up to EN 12941 TH3 / EN 12942 TM3 – nominal protection factor up to 500 (depending on headtop).
- Rugged, decontaminable housing: protection rating IP54 in use (dust & splash water), IP67 with cleaning plugs (short-term immersion).
- Easy-clean belt: TR-627 belt with smooth surfaces – ideal for shift work and decontamination.
- Comfort breathing hose: self-adjusting BT-30 breathing hose follows body movement and reduces pull on the headtop.
