The Sundström SR 599 is a high-performance combination filter A1BE2K1-Hg-P3 R for use with the powered air units SR 500 and SR 500 EX. It protects against organic, inorganic and acidic gases/vapours, ammonia, mercury vapour, and provides P3 R particle protection.
Protection
- A1: Organic vapours (boiling point > +65 °C), e.g. solvents
- BE2: Inorganic (B) and acidic (E) gases/vapours, e.g. Cl2, H2S, HCN, SO2, HF
- K1: Ammonia and certain amines
- Hg: Mercury vapour (maximum service time 50 hours)
- P3 R: Solid and liquid particles (fine dust, mist, smoke, microorganisms, fibre dust)

Use notes
- With SR 500 / SR 500 EX always use two identical filters simultaneously.
- Fit SR 221 prefilter in the SR 512 holder to increase service life.
- For mercury vapour (Hg): observe the max. 50 h service time.
- Observe limits per risk assessment and manufacturer instructions.
