Klüberfood NHT1 1-39 is heat transfer fluid (ISO 6743-12 QC, NSF H1 / HT1) for closed-loop heat transfer systems in the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries. It is based on highly refined hydrotreated mineral oil (API group II) and offers very high thermal stability with low vapour pressure.

Product description

Klüberfood NHT1 1-39 was developed for closed heat transfer systems and offers very high thermal stability. Compared to standard mineral oils, this heat transfer fluid is based on highly refined hydrotreated heavy paraffinics, which improves thermal stability. Due to its negligible vapour pressure, reactions with air in vented expansion tanks are greatly reduced, helping to limit degradation products and deposit build-up in the system.

Application notes

Klüberfood NHT1 1-39 can be applied in new systems without prior cleaning, except when required for reasons of product quality. It is compatible with common heat transfer fluids. The start-up procedure or cleaning process should be done in compliance with the documentation of the manufacturer of the heat transfer system. In the presence of inert gas, the operating time of this fluid may be considerably extended.
