MOTOREX COOL CONCENTRATE Fully synthetic, water-miscible coolant 5L

MOTOREX COOL CONCENTRATE is a fully synthetic, water-miscible coolant concentrate developed for high-end tool and motor spindles and closed-loop spindle cooling systems. The formulation is designed for maximum cooling performance and optimum material compatibility.

• Also available in: 1 L bottle, 20 L canister, 60 L drum, 200 L drum
• Note: Mix the concentrate with clean drinking water before use.
• Cleaning note: 2–3 days before product change, clean the circuit with MOTOREX CS-CLEANER (see dosage below).

Features

• Very efficient heat removal for cooler spindle temperatures
• Helps protect materials in the cooling circuit against corrosion and deposit formation
• Prevents electrochemical corrosion
• Effective corrosion protection for aluminium, steel and non-ferrous metals; zinc-plated parts are not affected
• Low-maintenance; compatible with plastics and sealing materials typically used in machine construction
• Recommended medium temperature: 20–25°C (gentle on elastomers/seals)

Mixing & Operation

• Mixing concentration: 11–15% (concentrate + drinking water).
• Water quality (max.): water hardness 20°dH, chlorides 100ppm, sulphates 100ppm.
• Concentration check: use a refractometer – reading × factor = effective concentration.
• Recommended checks (monthly): pH value and concentration.
• Topping up: compensate evaporation losses with mixed coolant or ready-mix; if concentration reaches the upper limit, adjust back to the reference value by topping up with clean drinking water.

Technical Data

Commissioning & Maintenance

• Initial commissioning: flush the circuit with potable water (circulate ≥10 minutes), then drain completely.
• Routine checks: monitor pH and concentration (observe refractometer factor); target values according to the technical data sheet.
• Topping up: compensate evaporation losses with ready-mix; if concentration reaches the upper limit, correct with clean potable water.
• System cleaning before product change (CS-CLEANER): dosage 3 % of total system volume — examples:
  • at 20 L system volume: 0.6 L CS-CLEANER
  • at 60 L system volume: 1.8 L CS-CLEANER
  • at 200 L system volume: 6.0 L CS-CLEANER
  Recommendation: MOTOREX CS-CLEANER 1 L or 5 L.

Note: For simultaneous cooling of slowly rotating rotary/tilting tables from the same tank, consider using COOL-X AW.
