Castrol BioTac MP2 is an environmentally acceptable multipurpose EP grease (NLGI 2) with EU Ecolabel, based on lithium-calcium thickener technology and saturated ester for exposed marine deck applications.

Application Notes
- Before use, old grease residues should be removed as completely as possible and the components should be cleaned
- During a transition period, more frequent relubrication may be advisable
- On wire ropes, only a thin film of grease should be applied to the outer surfaces
- Excessive greasing may lead to contamination of the surrounding area
Storage
- Always store packages under cover
- If outdoor storage is unavoidable, drums should be stored horizontally
- Do not store above 60 °C, in hot sun or under freezing conditions
