FUCHS ECOCOOL GLOBAL 1000 is a boron-free, water-miscible metalworking fluid concentrate for demanding machining operations, especially in aerospace, medical technology and semiconductor-related applications.

Applications

• Multi-purpose use for drilling, turning, milling, threading and grinding
• Suitable for titanium and nickel-based alloys as well as aluminium, stainless steel and steel
• Not designed for continuous use in cast-iron machining

Features

• Free from formaldehyde, boron, MEA and silicon
• Odour-neutral
• Very good corrosion protection and high emulsion stability (stable pH value)
• Very good high-pressure stability
• Good foam behaviour in all water hardness ranges
• WGK 1 (low hazard to waters)

Use instructions (concentration & mixing)

• Recommended minimum concentration: 8%
• Typical application concentration: 8–12% (depending on material and process)
• Guideline values: titanium & nickel-based alloys 8–10%; stainless / Cr-Ni steels 8–9%; steel & aluminium alloys 8–9%
• Optimal mixing temperature (concentrate/make-up water): 15–20 °C

Storage

• Minimum shelf life of emulsifiable coolants: 6 months from delivery (when stored correctly in unopened original containers)
• Storage temperature: not below +5 °C and not above +40 °C; protect from sun/rain

Notes

• Slight colour changes or minor sedimentation in the concentrate do not affect performance or quality.
• For use, follow applicable guidelines such as VDI 3035, 3397 (parts 1–3) and DGUV 109-003 “Activities with metalworking fluids”.
• Our products must not be used in aircraft or spacecraft. They may be used to manufacture components if they are completely removed before assembly.
