Castrol Alphasyn T 460 Synthetic PAO/AW gear oil CL 20L

Castrol Alphasyn T 460 is a synthetic gear oil (ISO VG 460) based on PAO fluids and sulphur/phosphorus anti-wear additive technology, providing outstanding thermal stability and good load carrying capacity.

Applications

• Most types of light to medium duty enclosed gear systems (not for heavy or shock loaded systems)
• Bearings and circulatory systems operating at high temperatures
• Various applications where a lubricating oil is used under high temperatures, e.g. from hydraulic systems through to large, slow moving gears
• Low and high temperature applications due to very low pour points and excellent viscosity/temperature characteristics
• Compatible with nitrile, silicone and fluropolymer seal materials

Storage

• Containers of any kind should be stored under cover where possible.
• If stored outdoors without cover, oil drums should be stored horizontally to prevent water ingress and to maintain label readability.
• Products should not be stored at temperatures above 60 °C or in direct sunlight.
