Castrol Alphasyn HTX 1000 is a high-temperature synthetic gear lubricant (ISO VG 1000) based on polyalpha-olefin (PAO) fluids, providing outstanding thermal stability and high load-carrying capacity.

Application
- Enclosed gear systems at low to medium loads
- Roller and slide bearing lubrication, e.g., in heated calenders (paper, rubber, and plastics industries)
Circulatory systems, even at elevated temperatures- Wide temperature range applications due to good viscosity-temperature behavior and low pour point
- Note: Not suitable for systems with extreme high loads or shock loads

Product Description
Castrol Alphasyn HTX gear oils are high-quality lubricants based on synthetic hydrocarbons. Thermally stable additives enhance wear protection, aging resistance, and corrosion protection. These oils are particularly advantageous at high temperatures where conventional mineral oils would require very short oil change intervals. The products may darken when exposed to light, but this does not affect their performance.
