The M & P Ausonne is an ergonomic safety knife with a retractable and exchangeable blade. The blade extends by bringing the slider in an upward position. It stays extended until it looses contact to material to be cut. The knife's cut depth can be adjusted to 3 different positions (5 mm, 11 mm and 15 mm).
