Application Notes
- Check whether the thread designation M 15 x 2.0 matches the workpiece and the required thread fit
- Prepare the workpiece with a clean lead-in chamfer before threading
- Use a suitable die stock to keep the die square to the workpiece axis
- Use a suitable cutting fluid matched to the workpiece material
- Maintain alignment during threading and break chips regularly by briefly reversing
- After machining, clean the die and check the finished thread with a matching part or a suitable gauge
