Markal SCAN-IT Plus is a fluorescent round marking crayon for the lumber and sawmill industry, developed for optically readable sorting and grade marks.
- Hardness: medium – for cooler to normal production conditions (approx. 4 to 21 °C / 40 to 70 °F), when a slightly easier-writing crayon is preferred
- Also available in: hard
Applications
- For lumber, sawn timber and wood products
- For scan-readable sorting and grade markings in sawmills and wood processing
- Suitable for marking on different wood types, including wet or green wood
- For Lucidyne ColorScan-compatible markings
