Only conductive materials can be engraved with the Etching-Pen Arkograf.

The parts to be engraved should be free of lubricants, rust, scale or other dirt.
The electrical engraving machines work with an oscillating electrode, according to the light arc short circuit principle.
The devices consist of: Special transformer for 1-8 V secondary voltage, with on / off switch, control lamp, approx. 1 m connecting cable with earthing contact plug, writing pencil and 3 electrodes of 1.2 x 25 mm for steel and metals, base plates and a wooden box.
