Shell Gadus S3 Wirerope A (formerly known as: Shell ROV Cable Grease) is a lithium / calcium complex wire rope grease for lubrication in highly corrosive and water-exposed environments.
- Pack size: 18 kg pail
- Also available in: 180 kg drum
Applications
- Lubrication and rust inhibition of steel armoured ROV cables operating in saltwater environments (arctic to tropical climates)
- Lubrication of wire and chain where excellent adhesion, rust inhibition and water repelling properties are required
- Can also be applied using central lubrication systems of the type "Masto™"

- Excellent water resistance and low washout (ASTM D1264 max. 5%)
- Strong corrosion protection (SKF Emcor: pass – also in synthetic saltwater)
