MOLYDUVAL Pegasus UM 1 is a soft high-temperature grease based on polyurea (NLGI grade 1-2) for the lubrication of rolling and plain bearings at elevated temperatures.

Applications

• Rolling and plain bearings in high-temperature areas, e.g. bearings on annealing, drying and rotary kilns, cooling beds and conveyor systems
• Fan and electric motor bearings at elevated temperatures
• Rolling bearings on vibrating screens in asphalt and mixing plants
• Spindle screws and linear guides at high operating temperatures
• Rolling and plain bearings in textile machines
• Robot gears with flex-spline
• As a mould release agent in brass die casting

Features

• High-temperature resistant: suitable for bearing points in a range of approx. -30 °C to +180 °C (guide value depending on application and bearing design).
• Long-term stability: oxidation- and ageing-stable, enabling long relubrication intervals and reduced maintenance costs.
• Good corrosion protection: reliably protects bearing and machine components against rust and fretting corrosion.
• Very good adhesion: remains well adhered at the lubrication points even under vibration, shock loads and higher speeds.
• Water-resistant: offers good protection in the presence of moisture and splash water.
• Clean in use: low tendency to form agglomerates or other deposits.
